Frith that looks delicious.
I stir fried some bits left over in the fridge, a couple of sliced mushrooms, some water chestnuts and egg noodles with a chopped up salmon fillet all in way more soy sauce than would be deemed healthy I'm sure.
Actually no idea what OH had, he ate while i was still working.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Currently got a variation of the Hairys lean lamb hotpot in the oven. Using stewing lamb but didn't realise there was so much bone in it when i bought it, so left the pieces whole to cook on the bone and add some more flavour too hopefully.
Didn't have enough hm stock out so had to add an oxo too. While that's cooking i reheated some pasta and tomato sauce. Wasn't quite as nice as the hotpot smells but did the job.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I still have a surfeit of eggs to use up from my hens, so tonight I’m making Scotch eggs to have with some salad, with meringues and mixed berries for dessert.1 -

I have a vegetable chicken soup cooking mainly because what I have cooked this week hasn't been the most nutritious. Might just have soup for both meals today or there is a Thai meal for two in the fridge we need to have at some point before Monday. Likely going to have it this evening.
Had the Thai meal. Was very nice contained red/green curry, rice, 4 mini spring rolls and prawn crackers. Not bad for £7.50 feeding the two of us. My only criticism would be more rice would be nice however it was still fairly filling and if I call it a fakeaway much cheaper than a take away.2 -
Made a sort of giant pastie with onion, chicken and some l.o gammon plus lots of fresh sage. Had with runner beans that are still growing on the allotment.
