Pork here too! I’m slow cooking pork loin, onions and mushrooms in cider with a little bit of cream stirred through when serving. Small amount of mashed potato, and lots of green veg from the garden.2

Didn't eat the ready meals as planned last night. Lunch had been quite late and then we had crisps etc whilst watching tv.
Ready meals are in the oven cooking to have now.1 -
Mushroom risotto last night was delicious, quite surprising as it was largely made up from freezer fayre and leftovers and i mostly ignored the recipe.

Vege sausages, pork chops and meat sausages, green beans, mushy peas, brussel sprouts, roast potatoes. Root mash and gravy. Made a massive pan of root mash with sweed, sweet potato, parsnip, carrots and potatoes.1

Roast chicken dinners over the weekend served with loads of gravy, roast potatoes, peas, cheesy leeks and Yorkshire pudding – was lush!

Jamie Oliver Essex Cassoulet but without the beans, with mashed celeriac and kale in butter and garlic. A very garlicky meal.....luckily working from home tomorrow so don't care. Leftover rhubarb crumble for pudding.3

Brunch was fried green tomatoes in a polenta crust (really nice!) with sauteed mushrooms and scrambled eggs. Dinner tonight is pure comfort food - shepherd's pie followed by creme brulee.3
