  • Sunday was cheesy pasta and then out for drinks.
    Monday night I made veg soup and put in two pork chops to use them up. After the soup we had chicken and rice.
    Tonight soup again. Then use up the last of rice-  fried rice and chicken kiev,

    I had salmon, the others had cod, prawns, scallops, salmon and chorizo with chive and lemon butter in tin foil parcels ( sounds extravagant, but it was using bits up)
    All served with green beans and dauphinose potatoes.

    Salmon here today too, wrapped a fillet in foil with lemon, butter and a dash of white wine.  Served with LO cheese and broccoli pasta.

  • Breakfast was a oven baked cinnamon swirl. Lunch will either left overs from last night if no wants it or oven baked sausage rolls from Greggs by way of Iceland. Dinner is a chicken fajita thing with rice instead of tortilla
    Starting Total in September 2019 = £38287.77
    Current Total = £25534.10
    33% of debt paid off so far

    Debt Free by Christmas September August July June 2023!

    Tonight I am making carrot and kidney bean burgers with potato salad, cucumber, lettuce, tomato and spring onion from the garden.

    I have been craving prawns, so going old school with a huge prawn cocktail salad, DH will have his with a jacket spud 👍

    We were going to go out for dinner but cba with all the latest palaver BJ has decreed, plus its chucking it down outside. So HM Veggie chilli and £50 saved tonight. Sorry restaurant.

    Son 2’s favourites tonight - pork loins fried with cream, mustard and honey sauce, stuffing, roast pots, carrots, courgettes and tomatoes. 
    Bread and butter pudding. I ran out of jam partway through so substituted it with salted caramel spread. After all that, we’ve spent the evening draped over the furniture!
