I’m having a chicken leg (cooked yesterday), spuds, cauliflower, cabbage and gravy for lunch. I’ve got the chicken carcass in the slow cooker (6litre) with a packet of broth mix, carrots, onions and swede for tonight. It usually does about 8 good portions for under £1.50. I’ve already stripped breast off chicken and frozen it for future meals and I will freeze some of the chicken and veg broth too.3

lunch was at father in laws. Paella (proper spanish way) and a mini magnum
dinner I’ve made a broccoli, potato and cheddar soup. We don’t like Stilton so I’ve winged a version with cheddar and thankfully it tastes great. It’s made with milk too so extra creamy and indulgent:money::rotfl::T4
