Mash, broccoli; and chops in a mushroom and something or other sauce... should get up and check in the kitchen. It really needed cream according to the instructions, as we had none I managed to ''wing'' it.

I tried to recreate a pasta dish I had in Spain, maybe the sea and sand was missing but mine wasnt as good.
It was a simple garlic, mushroom, skinned and diced fresh tomatoes, spinach and olive oil with some prawns and spaghetti mixed in.
    Garlic bread on the side.

Oven baked salmon fillet (baked it with some butter,  wedge of lemon and chopped chives) with broccoli and cheese pasta.
Had planned to make some veggie chilli today but somehow haven't got around to it.

Diced beef, onions and mushrooms are currently simmering away in the slow cooker with red wine, beef stock, a teaspoon of anchovy essence and the last couple of rashers of finely sliced streaky bacon. Smells lovely!

Yesterday I processed a carrier bag full of windfall Bramley apples, some for the freezer, some for apple/chilli/green tomato chutney, and some for this week’s desserts. Tonight it’s apple stewed with sultanas, cinnamon and a drizzle of honey wrapped in home made pancakes.
  • Just to carry on the beef theme lol......I had Roast beef, celeriac dauphinoise, home grown french beans and cauliflower.
