Think I am going to make a potato, bacon and onion bake for dinner as I have all the ingredients and it's something I've been wanting to try.2 -
BBQ again this afternoon, No Pork pulled bbq burgers (same range from Iceland as the No Bull burgers) in a brioche bun and fried onions.
I also had cheese on mine and some sliced cucumber, chipotle potato salad and sliced fried mushrooms to use the last few up. Very nice it was too.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

wow absolutely loving the weather. Lunch was spinach scrambled eggs to use up some spinach that was starting to wilt with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms. Dinner tonight is a roast lemon and garlic chicken with jersey royals and salad.Well Behaved women seldom make history

sliced too many potatoes for the pie last night. Had them fried this morning with bacon, egg,mushrooms, tomato.
Burgers for dinner, chicken this time.3 -
A really tasty marinade for chicken thighs is miso paste, soy sauce, a drizzle of oil and a squirt of runny honey.
Roast chicken dinner for us tonight, but without the roast potatoes in a half-hearted attempt to reduce carbs a bit. This effort will be negated considerably by the enormous sherry trifle I have made for puddings this week. Oh well.3
