Sausage casserole for supper tonight with mashed potatoes and veggies. Ideally in the slow cooker.

@MrsStepford I have never tasted rabbit. Would love to try but I have never seen it here in the city.  How will you cook it?

Mrs S you certainly got a bargain there 👍

It’s boiling already here, the whole weekend is just going to be BBQ - will make some arancini from LO risotto, and the asparagus tart for lunches, with various salads, oh and wine may feature 😉🍷🥂

mackerel and microwave rice again for lunch.
Think I am going to make a potato, bacon and onion bake for dinner as I have all the ingredients and it's something I've been wanting to try.

BBQ again this afternoon,  No Pork pulled bbq burgers (same range from Iceland as the No Bull burgers) in a brioche bun and fried onions.
I also had cheese on mine and some sliced cucumber,  chipotle potato salad and sliced fried mushrooms to use the last few up.  Very nice it was too.

wow absolutely loving the weather.  Lunch was spinach scrambled eggs to use up some spinach that was starting to wilt with grilled tomatoes and mushrooms.  Dinner tonight is a roast lemon and garlic chicken with jersey royals and salad.

A really tasty marinade for chicken thighs is miso paste, soy sauce, a drizzle of oil and a squirt of runny honey.

Roast chicken dinner for us tonight, but without the roast potatoes in a half-hearted attempt to reduce carbs a bit. This effort will be negated considerably by the enormous sherry trifle I have made for puddings this week. Oh well.
