That is my kind of lunch IM! Looks amazing.
We had ham&egg salad for lunch, week since last shopping so running low on fresh stuff now. Hopefully will make it till Wednesday before a shop,as tomorrow I am back to working (from home) and I have an interview for an internal job I really want!! So need to prepare for it and won't be able to pop out.
For tea we are having baked camembert and baked fresh baguette (from part baked stuff I bough last week), and some chilli calamari from Aldi frozen section.
Never had them before but they came highly recommended to me,so fingers crossed2 -
Any let me know what you think of the calamari, I’ve looked at them several times, but worry they might be like battered Rubber bands 🤣👍Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

That looks wonderful, IM.
The pork and red pepper meatballs I made were delicious, and there are even a few left over to put in some wholemeal pittas with some salad and grated cheese for lunch tomorrow. Even better news is that there WAS enough leftover pork for the ragu which is planned for tomorrow night. I'll have to pad it out with some chestnut mushrooms, but there will be plenty3 -
Little_green looking at 'what other people brought ' they seem to fall under the frankfurter type sausage category so I'd either try them like that, or perhaps grill a couple?
Yesterday i made HM sweet potato fries with beer batterd haddock (from aldi). Today OH made pasta which was lovely for someone else to cook.
Can't recall who was talking about fish in the bag the other week but on the back of that conversation i ended up picking some up in Asda today (haven't been to that store for eons and some places no longer seem to sell it...queue for Iceland was horrendous so wasn't going there, reckon people were just going to cool off 🤣)Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

I think I will buy them again. Maybe put it in on higher temperature (or just into really really hot oven to start with,as it is there only 12 mins) just to get the outside crispier, but they were not rubbery inside at all. Flavour is nice too. It was enough as an aside, but if I wanted to serve it with rice as a main I would need 2 packs.2 -
LO gammon on Saturday with salady bits, Sunday and yesterday dinner was pork steaks, roast potatoes, HM stuffing, broccoli cheese, peas and yorkies. Lush
Today and rest of week will be a steak night, a Bolognese night and a salad night – finer details to be confirmed lol

For lunch we had soup from the freezer. Me cauliflower, OH spicy thai butternut squash.
For tea,we are having roasted new potatoes, smoked haddock&bacon steamed cabbage. Yum4 -
Lunch was ham salad sandwich with the remains of the veg-box lettuce. Got given a whole chicken by a neighbour - Use By tomorrow, she's veggie so can't use it and her daughter (who bought it) is ill and not eating anything solid. so it's now roasting in my oven, reckon that's a fair few lunches and dinners out of that!
Tonight is venison curry - the small roasting joint was developing freezer burn, so it's made 3 portions of curry, it'll have spinach and mushrooms added to bulk it out.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 10/66 coupons used
