For lunch toay we had potato cakes and some more tomato&feta salad
For tea we had some goulash with sourdough bread. It was disaster. My cooker sometimes playes up and it decided to do so today, and instead of simmering decided to jump again to full blow and burned the bottom of the pan! Aarrrgh. Definitely time to start looking for new range cooker. This one we bought with the house, and I had problems from the start. It's definitely getting worse.

Argh, how annoying - I hate it when I burn things as there's just no getting away from it. I'm no cooker expert but would it be worth having someone come and have a look at it perhaps? Might be something relatively simple to fix / replace rather than a new cooker (unless you really want one anyway).
Dinner last night was Thai red curry with Quorn pieces, roasted squash and some diced peppers that I'd lobbed in the freezer. With rice. All gone, no leftovers.
Tonight is fend for yourself - I bought some more jersey royals on Sunday so might have those with something.
Tomorrow I think is planned for stir fry.

I might google it first. Problem also is that there isn't such a big choice in the size there, and colour. Half of the offering is the make I have now, and I would not like to go and spend a grand at minimum on something that let me down so much
I also hate the second oven on it, never worked right for me...even OH, after saying "oh,it just doesn't have a fan, otherwise it's just an oven like any other,I don't think it's problem with the oven, you just are not used to it" had brought out of it the most anemic roast potatoes at Xmas I have ever seen!!! 🤣🤣🤣 After an hour. On almost full blast.
I just lifted my eyebrow at him 😝

Lunch today is a sandwich as I bought some salami at Coop yesterday, and a burger for tea
