Beautiful photo, we have some very happy memories of isle of wight holidays when the children were young. I even chose to go for my fiftieth birthday as I loved it so much.
Today for dinner I cooked a gammon joint. Served it with leftover frozen cauliflower and broccoli cheese, jersey potatoes, asparagus, green beans. I had quorn bacon instead of gammon.  Made a banana and chocolate loaf and we had a slice of it for afters.

We do love the Island, both born here, but left In our early 20’s, retuned about 20 years ago - there’s no place like home 😉

Leftovers tonight, bbq chicken, stuffed potato skins, coleslaw, salad - easy after work dinner 👍

    frittata for work lunches

  • Bottom of the fridge soup to make forlunch today and I've cooked myself some chicken thigh fillets to have with mine, HWK will have a ham sandwich.  Supper tonight is a baked bean based hash with some onion, already cooked potato diced and some cheese mixed in with a layer of nutmeg spiced spinach in the middle.  I'll serve it with a grated carrot based winter salad.
