I can report that the Tartiflette was delicious. Mmmmmm, Reblochon!
Tonight I am using up half a sheet of ready rolled puff pastry from the freezer, and spreading it with creme fraiche mixed with grain mustard then topping with baby spinach and flaked poached salmon. Bake for 15 mins. Will be served with jacket potatoes and an avocado salad.1 -

Im hosting for 5 people, 1 vegetarian on Saturday, I think I would prefer we all ate the same rather than separate for the meaters. What to do! Prefer a bake or something that can be bunged back in the oven to serve with say salad and garlic bread but preferably not lasagne – help!
Baked gnocchi with something like broccoli and leeks and a blue cheese sauce?
Some kind of baked vegetable gratin?

In honour of National Pie Week, I threw together a fridge pie: milk pastry containing layered precooked onions, leeks & mushrooms and grated cheese. To make it a proper pie night, it was served with mash and mushy peas.
