We had the traditional Christmas eve buffet. Ham done in slow cooker and I took some inspiration from pinterest and did some grazing boards, a vege one and a charcuterie one. Served with cheesy balls because that's a bit of a tradition and some breads.0

Merry Christmas everyone
I am going to be putting the oven on at 2.45. Might start prepping the veg a bit before that. We are having duck with a nice stuffing (from Aldi), spicy sauteed shallot gravy, roast carrots and parsnips, brussell sprouts with chestnuts and pancetta and roast potatoes. I juast nipped down the cellar and retrieved one of two bottles of Champagne which we had left from 2018 - Arnaud Moreau Grand Cru.

Got up very early and went for a good long hard run. Breakfast was a well deserved sliced avocado on sourdough toast with 2 fried eggs salt & pepper.
Lunch for the traditionalists is turkey from a crown everyone else is having goose with all the trimmings.
Currently full but not stuffed.
Right sush everyone the Queens on!0 -
Where is everyone?
Have been given my share of the left over turkey which is about 3 portions worth. Not that hungry tonight so made a Coronation turkey baguette for supper.0 -
We didn’t have turkey as none of us are keen and only had roast pork and pigs in blankets left over from yesterday, but had lots left from the Christmas Eve buffet.
So lunch was homemade mushroom soup, baked Camembert and crusty bread.
Dinner was leftover ham, salad, pickles etc.Well Behaved women seldom make history
