My darling DH is out with friends and colleagues today pretending the are still 20 and painting the town [STRIKE]beige[/STRIKE] red, so tonight I can feed myself, I have gone for ras el hanout spiced halloumi in HM wraps with a load of salad and yoghurt, lemon mouse for pud, a bottle of Macon is sat in the fridge awaiting my attention later, this shall be consumed in front of masterchef final catchup, hoping not to see result in the mean time :D

  • All day breakfast for us tonight - bacon, lorne sausage, tattie scones, black pudding and fried egg. This might be OHs favourite meal.
  • Chilli con carne topped jacket spuds for us tonight.

  • One of those strange days where everyone seems impatient and selfish. Have had to count to 10 taking deep breaths at least 10 times.

Looking for something filling but not stodgy. Took a chance and had a flick through Phiadons "The German Cookbook" and as I had all the ingredients to hand will be doing the "Salmon with Dill Sauce" page 144 accompanied with boiled "Parsley Potatoes" page 260. Might have a glass of wine but definitely no pudding.

I had sweet potato wedges with a halloumi burger and portobello mushroom in a bun and some red cabbage and apple coleslaw, absolutely delicious.
Husband had fish, chips and beans.

Last night we had sea bass, potatoes and asparagus. Tonight we're having soup.
