Due to unfortunate circumstances involving a breakdown recovery lorry last night ended up being instant noodles.
Haven't actually even thought about tonight, wondered why I wasn't that hungry but realised I had a cooked breakfast earlier today.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Thanks IM I was on my own in the evening, slightly dramatic with the engine temp suddenly shooting up and smoke coming up through the dash vents. Needless to say I hastily pulled over and hoofed it out of the car....with my shopping:rotfl:
The mechanic will have a bit of a surprise in the morning when he finds my car at the garage (didn't like to bother him over the weekend to say it was there) Fingers crossed for the diagnosis otherwise there will be a lot of beans on toast to be had. :eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Sort of shepherds pie. Leftover lamb with fried onions and mushrooms, sauce made with leftover juices, bisto and yoghurt marinade. Then a layer of braised cabbage and leeks, then a layer of mash. It was surprisingly tasty.“the princess jumped from the tower & she learned that she could fly all along. she never needed those wings.”
