Need to use up some spuds, and have some small steaks in freezer, so will make a version of steak and chips, with salad and grilled tomato’s.

We’re away for the weekend, so trying to make do.

I made Moroccan chicken, again using a maggi spice mix. Used up a load of veg and made couscous. I had halloumi and beetroot in a pitta bread with my couscous.
While the oven was on I made a single portion of lamb hot pot for husband tomorrow. I will have a jacket potato or omelette.

  • Left over Chilli for us tonight. This recipe always makes enough fora batch in the freezer too.

We’re going out for a meal tonight, my birthday is right before Christmas and it’s a nightmare to get anywhere away from Christmas parties then, so we’re off to a lovely tapas bar I like, it’s the closest thing to a real one we’ve found in the UK- really looking forward to it

Then off to DS’s for the weekend to babysit so they can go out tomorrow night
