Hello all
Veggie chilli for lunch (my daughters favourite) served with rice
Dinner was seeded bread sandwiches and yogurt:money::rotfl::T0 -
Thursday we had chicken saag and a vegetable curry.
Friday I had jacket potato with tuna and sweetcorn, husband had fish, chips and peas.0 -
Out with friends tonight, not sure what’s on the menu, but the company will be goodNote to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Meat eaters had steak, baked potatoes, mushrooms and Ratatouille.
I had a go at making a souffle omelette for myself which was ok. I had it with Ratatouille and mushroom.0 -
I’m absolutely amazed how much stuff I managed to squirrel in the freezer. Still going through the contents although will have to replenish soups/meat before Christmas. Managed to last a month without buying meat bar some mince for lasagne.
Today is mince and tatties with farmshop veg, apple pie for afters ( could see somebody nibbled that already)
Have a warm, delicious Sunday dinner everybody
Oh, as for spices, maybe we could swap some tips what is a good combo?

Have you used your cabbage yet? If not then I would shred it with veg peeler( much thinner than chopped with knife),bruise it( makes it softer), mixed with chopped apple, onion and pickled cucumber, !!! a dollop of mayo and natural yoghurt(just to hold it together).0 -

Thanks Camomile, we have used it but I expect there will be future ones.
Tonight we had roast dinner but I couldn't be bothered to go buy a chicken so we had all the trimmings, including stuffing, but no actual meat. Absolutely stuffed and looks like there will be veg soup for later in the week.0
