  • Busy day out looking after my new little granddaughter this morning and a run to the Hospice I volunteer in the shop for to get documentation copied for a check as I'm going to be the D of E mentor for youngsters who want to volunteer in the shop. Sandwich lunch with DD1 and supper this evening will be sausage rolls that need to be used, oven chips and baked beans for sheer ease because I'm tired.

Made a vat of veggie chilli last night so that's in the fridge for whenever.

Tonight I'm having quorn nuggets, beans and the lo hash browns from the vegan market yesterday. Last of the bag of nuggets so nice to see something go out of the freezer. Will be fuller tomorrow though when Xmas dinner goes in.

Probably some of the veggie chilli tonight that I made on Sunday. I might have some with some cauli rice.

I also got a half leg of lamb out of the freezer (thought it was a whole one actually but obv not when I got it out) and plan to roast that tomorrow, Heston has a recipe using rosemary, garlic and anchovies so going to give that a whirl.
