  • I made red pepper and tomato soup for our lunch today and supper will be a tiny roast of a piece of pork loin with apple sauce and stuffing and some veg followed if there's room by fruit sponge and custard.

Got a chicken out of the freezer yesterday so will be making a full roast chicken dinner. So will be chicken, roasted potatoes, courgettes, onions & peppers, mashed swede, cabbage & green beans.
  • Leftover root veg stew with butter beans and baked beans. It's lovely with grated cheese on top. DS is away so no roast dinner needed today.

I got loads of reduced veg in Lidl so made a huge mediterrenean stew with peppers, aubergine and mushrooms in passata. Served with rice. Will be having a wee mince pie later...sorrynotsorry!

Had a couple too many beers out last night so was feeling a little fragile today, dinner was a ping ping vegetable lasagne.

Did make a Gluten Free apple and blackberry traybake this evening though, OH has already sampled and approved it.

Out last night to a party. Lovely food. Trays of canapes and prosecco and later on a hot buffet.

Today we went out as all the family were home. I had a vegan hot dog. It was really good. Meat eating husband couldn't tell the difference. I will see if I can find them in the shops, it was about 8 inches long and thick. So if anyone has any ideas let me know please.
  • Soup for lunch and pasta for supper with a home made sauce containing the last little bit of yesterdays tiny joint of pork. I shall make it a porky carbonara and serve it with a nice mixed salad.
