  • Hi Everyone,

I have a chicken in the slow cooker, we will have it with veg medley (bits of different veggies which need using up) and some roast potatoes and routing through the freezer I found some frozen stuffing balls.....no idea how they appeared in my freezer as I am positive I never made / bought them, but will use them up anyway.

The plan is leftover chicken sandwiches for tomorrows lunch.

I made a chicken and bacon and veg pasta bake. I had pasta bake without the meat. Garlic bread and salad.

Used the remaining bacon to make some lentil soup for packed lunches.

It’s MIL day, so soft diet.

As I have a busy day ahead, I used the chicken stock from last weekend’s SC chicken to make chicken and vegetable soup and have made some milk bread rolls to go with it, raspberry jelly with raspberries and cream for pud

Baked pot with butter and cheese last night, again plain and simple. Small baked pot for lunch today with beans and see if I can muster cooking tonight otherwise the meat in the fridge will have to be frozen for another time!

Have grabbed some HM faggots in onion gravy from the freezer. Will have tonight with some mash and cabbage. Think I'll probably need to make some more gravy as there doesn't look much in the bag.

I think my lovely wife may kill me.
I have just made a lamb Roghan Josh and it is way hotter than I have cooked it before. It tastes great but she cannot take very hot food. We have a Morrisons Madras in the fridge, and I don't think that will be very hot, so I may customise it a bit, with chopped onion, tomato and a little more crushed garlic.
    Fingers crossed.
