Made another sausage casserole and a apple crumble served with vanilla ice cream, same again tonight. got a bit of brisket in a good deal, bigger than normally would get so I’m going to half it and freeze one bit then slow cook the other for a mid-week roast
  • Sweet and sour concoction using last drop of sauce from last night, jar of same, chicken cubes and then I put onion/courgette/mushrooms as well to use them up. I bet by the time the sauce as filtered in it will be OK. All in SC now.

I'm making a cheesy rice stuffed squash for dinner tonight. We've had a jacket potato with beans & tomatoes and some salad for lunch.

    Hello all

Today we jacket spud with cheese n beans. It’s incredibly windy over here at the moment (we live in Mallorca) so it was perfect.

Tea was left over baguette from yesterday which I soaked in egg and fried off. Daughter and I had it with yogurt, apple and grapes

Out last night to a party. Lovely food. Trays of canapes and prosecco and later on a hot buffet.

Today we went out as all the family were home. I had a vegan hot dog. It was really good. Meat eating husband couldn't tell the difference. I will see if I can find them in the shops, it was about 8 inches long and thick. So if anyone has any ideas let me know please.

No idea about the hot dogs but Aldi do lovely vegan sausage rolls in their frozen section. They're a box of four and aside from the fact the pastry doesn't really brown much, your really wouldn't know the difference. They also have vegan 'cornish' pasties in the same range (have a box of 2 still to try) and bags of small sausage rolls.

Finished work late tonight and dinner was rather made up as I went along, had mash, cabbage, sliced ham and a poached egg. Very nice it was too. OH has soup when he got in.
