I love the fatty Friday description.
Husband cooked again, he is so much better at portion sizes, I tend to do far too much. He judges just right. We had oven chips, fish and peas.0 -

We've been to the rugby this afternoon and got wet and very cold but we WON so we're happy. Cold in the house so the stove is lit and I've just put a big dish of Bubble and Squeak into the oven with a cheese, bacon and tomato topping to warm us up and there's leftover custard so if we want it I'll make a microwave steamed pud for afters.0

We're having a slow cooked gammon hock will cook with some carrots & onions. Will also be doing roast potatoes, roasted veg - carrots, onions, peppers, parsnips; cabbage and carrot & swede mash. Dinner will obviously be more veg than meat so there is some left for dinner tomorrow with fried up veg & potatoes.0

I’ve got two x half legs of lamb (the meatier ends) in the slow cooker, which we will have with roast potatoes, creamed cabbage, carrots and peas tonight. The leftover lamb will go into a cumin-spiced pilaff with apricots and pomegranate seeds for tomorrow night, and there should be enough left for some lamb croquettes to go in the freezer too.0
