    Trying to clear out fridge and freezer. Tonight will be chickpeas (from freezer - I pressure cook from dried in bulk then freeze) and green bean (from ILs allotment) curry, with rice, pitta and - if I can be bovvered - marrow/courguette bhajis.

    Unsure tonight but as I will be near a supermarket this evening I might get some ingredients for a quick mushroom or celery soup, had to defrost the car this morning, sob!

    Boiled egg sandwiches for lunch……

    MIL day, so HM chicken pie with mash and Savoy cabbage, simple pud of Icecream and HM hot chocolate sauce - need to get some calories into her

    DH has a late hospital appointment this afternoon so may not get home in time to cook the planned dinner of stuffed chicken breast so will probably end up with fish and chips!

    Last night was beef stroganoff, done in the slow cooker. For tonight I have made some salmon and harissa fishcakes to have with salad and chips.

    Last night was chana dal (used BBC Good Food recipe) and bhajis made from a marrow from the in laws garden. And the obligatory chutney/pickles.

    Lunch is more of the same, reheated.

    It's French class tonight, which means beans on toast!

    Last night was stir fried noodles LO from the other night, with some tuna in soy and ginger dressing, petit pois and sweetcorn all mixed in with an egg.

  • Have done back in and neighbour brought me some chickpea curry and dumplings which I had for lunch (more for tomorrow) and as friend is coming to visit tonight I am treating her to a birthday Jamaican take-away.

    We ended up with fish & chips last night so tonight's dinner will be the stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon with roast potatoes, carrot & onion with some green veg.
