  • I got a hm beef in piri piri and some hm flat dumplings out of freezer for last night and then ds brought me a pork stew, jkt potato and a hm loaf of bread. He also did a couple of odd jobs for me and was still here when my on-line delivery came so he was able to put stuff away. This was a great help as some of the goods would still be on the floor in the kitchen. Will give it another day or so and then if no better I will have to call doc fora home visit, am having my full dose of my pain killers in 24 hrs so obviously need something stronger. Oh dear.

Last night's dinner was lush! We celebrated getting a new oven with a roast, and apple crumble. Our "roast" was: veggie sausages, sage and onion stuffing, maple roasted carrots, thyme and garlic potatoes, broccoli and gravy.

Then HM crumble with apples from the garden, and some custard (cheaty - from powder)

    Yum, yum.

Tonight is going to be veggie chilli, lettuce, rice, tortilla chips and salsa. And more crumble!

    Wow, that all sounds gorgeous.:A

Using more of the weekend's chicken to make Spanish rice - chicken and chorizo risotto. The last of the chicken has been frozen to make a curry at a later date.

I made beef burgers with mozzarella in the middle, with some actifry wedges, coleslaw and salad. I had cardboard vege burgers with mozzarella on top. ( not real cardboard, just not very good)

I made baked apples for afters which we had with custard.
