Made veggie / GF chilli last night - just had a bowl with some grated cheese and creme fraiche. OH scoffed two bowls. Plenty of our 5 a day in it with onions, tomatoes, pepper, carrot and beans.

I forgot to pick the beans and only realised when the rest of dinner was ready, must be the heat getting to me!

Busy day at work and my dad visits on a Thursday so needed something quick so we had spaghetti with prawns, chilli, tomatoes, lemon, and courgette ribbons with garlic bread. Took 12 minutes.
For something so simple it was delicious.
  • I love seeing what you folks are cooking, you give me many suggestions for myself. Thank you.

Confession: so tired after work that I called into the coop and bought the £5 frozen meal deal. 2 fish fillets, 2 big fish cakes, a bag of oven chips, a bag of peas and a tub of posh icecream. We had it for dinner with bread and butter. Easily served the three of us.
Icecream was topped with some berries that needed using up.
I then had a well deserved nap on the sofa.
