Was out yesterday for a leaving lunch which consisted of starter, main course and dessert...so dinner was not required.

Dinner tonight was HM lasagne from the feeezer for me, OH had a ping ping byriani from the freezer.

Feel like things have been all over the place lately (well they have .for various reasons) so really going to try and do a stock take and use up lots of what we have in.

Griddled Chicken breasts marinated in ginger & garlic and tomato salad ( the latter because it's quite muggy still)

We had cottage pie. It made a nice change from salad. The topping was cheese and chive mash from the freezer so some space created.

Skinny fries done in actifry, burgers and a tray full of bits to have with them. (Cheese, gherkin, salad leaves, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, coleslaw, relish)

    Quick and easy.

Well, I much preferred the sweet and sour chicken that I made last night, over the slow cooker Asian chicken (that was a bit sweet for my taste, ironically). Was packed with veggies, that had plenty of bite still. Yum! Had Choc Banana 'Ice Cream' for dessert. OMG! DELICIOUS!

Tonight - Trying my hand at devilled sausages with sweet potato mash, and plenty of veg. And have 'healthy' (ie, a bit dry) carrot cake for dessert.

Had chicken and leek filo pastry for lunch, with side salad.

Sorry you didn't enjoy your Asian chicken. It's so disappointing when you try a new recipe and it doesn't work out. My SC chana masala wasn't very nice at all, threw most of it away. Certainly won't be using that recipe again. I'll stick to my usual recipe in future!

Tonight's dinner will be the Hairy Bikers Braised Steak & onions with extra veg and served with mash.
