Pork steaks last night with cheesy mash, peas and sweetcorn, there were four so it’s the same again tonight, good job it was so super nice, and super easy!
  • 2 x carrot souffle going into freezer, its OK. Made big pot of carrot + ginger soup, tastes OK but very thick so do not really facy it so will freeze in small portions and add to soups/stews etc as and when, I have done that with curry if it is too spicy etc as I will not throw food away and it just disappears into the other ingredients. Still have some bacon chunks so may have them with mushroom, omlette maybe tonight, toast for lunch - got a fancy for baked beans.

Just made some delicious fish cakes. Lightly smoked salmon plus lemon juice and lemon rind, dill, parsley, thyme, red chilli and spring onion. Used a roux as the binder instead of potatoes then double coated in panko breadcrumbs - nom
