    OH has sweet potato curry.
I had vegan sausages and country vegetable gratin from Cook! Which sadly was a bit bland. Might make the remaining into bubble and squeak or a kind of frittata.

Really peeved Aldi have discontinued their Vegan meatless burgers, were the nicest meat free burgers we've had and not overtly vegetable burgers which OH isn't always keen on. They were like a meat burger. Found similar ones in Sainsbobs so shall test drive those over the next couple of days.

A sort of deconstructed shepherd's pie for us tonight - I have a couple of portions of slow cooked shredded lamb with peas and green lentils, diced carrots, onion, parsnip and courgette in gravy in the freezer. I'll defrost these and serve with some boulangere potatoes which I baked last night.

    Eton mess for pud.

Have you tried the "No Bull" burgers - they sell them in Iceland? Not tried them myself but have heard they're good.

Got a cauliflower to use up so will be making a cauliflower cheese and serve with chips. Making a low cal lemon meringue pie for pud which I'll go and make shortly.

Yes, we've had those a couple of times - they're quite nice / ok but the Aldi ones were more 'meaty' in texture. The No Bull ones tended to be a bit drier in texture I thought.

When we hosted DS’s 21st BBQ party, most of his friends are vegan and the Aldi beetroot burgers went down a storm, as did the cauliflower sausages and sweet potato sausages.

I am craving fish fingers of all things, so I have designated tonight junk food night, with fish finger sandwiches and fries - so excited;)

My DH loves fish finger sandwiches but I don't them very often as I hate fish fingers. I'm quite happy to eat a fish sandwich but proper fish not fish fingers which never tastes like real fish to me!
