Feeling a bit more human today, still got a barking cough, but hey-ho...

I am in the midst of making rosemary and garlic Foccacia to dip into melted Camembert along with celery, charcuterie.

For pud a simple Catalan custard, bit like a Creme brulee with a burnt sugar top, flavoured with orange and cardamom

I tidied out the freezer, and we had a mixture of curry. Bombay potato, Dahl, vege curry and chicken balti. I found half a nan bread and some samosas.

I also made some chocolate brownie as there was some bits of chocolate that needed using up.

I’ve just put a leg of lamb in the slow cooker for tonight’s supper, and will turn the leftovers into a spicy lamb and pomegranate pilaff for later in the week.

Inspired once again by IM who always posts about delicious dishes (thank you!) I searched out the recipe for the Catalan cheesecake and will be baking one of those this morning.

Had dinner at a friend's last night, she thought it was going to be chilli when she took it out of the freezer...turned out it was spag Bol, very yummy though. Then ended up in the big blue and yellow store today....would've been rude not to have the balls of meat whilst there.

So tomorrow will be a portion of veg casserole I'd taken out of the freezer for today.

More stuff from freezer, joint of brisket, cooked in slow cooker.
Served with roast potatoes, spring greens, cauliflower, parsnip and carrots and delias red cabbage from freezer.
I also made some bread, used half of dough to make a pizza base, topped with tomato sauce, from freezer. Cheese from freezer and some garlic mushrooms made quickly using some garlic oil. Daughter had pizza for her dinner.
I also made a rhubarb crumble, using some rhubarb I froze last year.

I'm really pleased that I have put all the frozen stuff I need for this week's dinners on one shelf for quick and easy access. Sometimes it's been that difficult trying to find something between two freezers, I have given up. However due to yesterday's efforts I know where to find things.
