What are you making for dinner?

Yesterday's reduced bargain was 2 lamb hearts for 50p. Casseroled one today with some more of the yellow sticker leeks, spuds and parsnips. Approximate cost 35p and still have half a bag of leeks to use up. Think I might fry them with some more of the potato and maybe an egg. Will have to see what yellow sticker bargains I can find this afternoon, hope it's mushrooms or chicken livers, they usually go well with fried leeks.Saved over £20K in 20 years by brewing my own booze.

I usually have a Sunday cookathon to get ready for the week, but we did some tidying up instead.
We had pork, stuffing, mini toads in the hole, roast potatoes, parsnips, mushy peas, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, carrots and gravy. Sounds like a lot but a lot of the stuff was previously frozen. It was quick to do.0 -
