Had a lovely weekend and mostly ate out, picnic Saturday and a curry Saturday night !!!8211; Sunday pub lunch
So yesterday I cooked a chicken so I don!!!8217;t have to use the oven again for a few days, and I also threw some baked potatoes in there too so I can use them this week. Once the chicken is used up it is something with pork chops, the super snaps looked good so I have some of them0 -
Ps: I trid halloumi, grilled, it was ok, not inedible but rubbery and slightly salty !!!8211; I would eat it again0

I'm only really here to see what others are eating, I mostly CBA to make meals as it's been so hot... so I've mostly been surviving on chocolate covered peanuts, jelly fruit pastilles, chocolate digestives, hot sausage rolls, chocolate banana custard, cheese/egg/tomato bread rolls, oven chips/fish fingers ... and similar healthy eating options.
Tried the local indian takeaway the other night ... minging, won't go there again. It not only didn't taste the way it should ... but the carrots and cabbage in it weren't cooked, they were still hard lumps. Veggie biryani ... it certainly wasn't. Wanted to toss the lot in the bin, but boxed it in the fridge and I'll toss some curry/similar powders at it later in the week rather than waste it... but not today, don't fancy it.
I've got two sausage rolls left from the current pack (of 6), so I'll have those at some point.
That's probably the closest I'll come to "a meal" today.0 -

Yes I cooked a chicken, but it was in a bag so minimal fuss. I had a baked potato with cheese and beans at lunch and a chocolate mousse. Fit to burst here and could do with a nap not work. However this is because I wont be eating until somewhere between 9-10 tonight as I am spinning. Love seeing what other folk eat! nosy one i am0 -

If you have any left try it battered or breadcrumbed like fish, it's got a completely different taste.
Can't remember posting yesterday, but we had salad and actifry wedges. Steak, tuna and egg for protein.
Tonight we had fish parcels, I had smoked haddock in mine, the others had salmon and prawns in theirs. Served with dauphinose potatoes, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms and green beans.
I was craving an apple crumble so opened a tin of apples and made some crumble, served with ice cream.0 -
