Was out all day yesterday, breakfasting, lunching and shopping with a friend so wasn't hungry when we got home from the pub.
    OH picked up a takeaway.
Will have a salad tonight, maybe cheese.

Just watched Nadiya cook samosa pie. It looked fab!

    Making for dinner? Absolutely nothing.

There's been an element of CBA today so instead of cooking I
road tested our local revamped Indian and ordered in -

    Starter of
Indian Spice Starter - Onion bhaji, chicken pakora, chicken tikka, sheek kebab
    followed by
Sweet chilli chicken (sweet & fairly hot)
Tandoori marinated chicken slices cooked in hot sweet chilli sauce, with onion & peppers
    served on
Special pilau rice - garden peas, onions, eggs
    with
Garlic naan - with garlic & coriander

It scored that well on the test that the phone number is stored on my mobile and a PDF of their menu saved on the desktop - repeat orders are reasonably certain.
(They do 30% on Wednesdays so that looks like a good way to break up a week that could be better.)
  • Family bbq today, I'll have salmon and skewers with courgette, onion and mushrooms, and corn on the cob, usual sausage and burgers etc for everyone else
  • Soup (sweet potato and sweetcorn chowder) and cold meat for lunch again today and if the weather forecast is correct and we are in the mid 30s all next week probably for the whole week too!

Supper this evening will be Za'atar salmon fillets in the foreman grill, new potatoes and steamed veg, cauliflower, carrots, runner beans and courgettes, a few home grown peas from the freezer too and then berries and fat free yoghurt for pud and our coffee as usual.
