:rotfl: it will be forever known as burger gate, we are meeting said friend on Saturday so iam thinking he should get her something. lol. Also when we picnic on saturday he will get a doggy picnic i feel this might be the safe option!
so last night it was chicken kiev, peas and jersey royals. bit boring but it filled a hole. no idea for tonight whatsoever. also need to start thinking about my picnic contribution. i usually do tuna pasta salad but no tuna in and i dont know if i fancy it. ideas please :money:
  • For lunch today we had hm roasted tomato and basil soup with cheese and crackers.

Tonight's dinner will be chicken in a creamy leek and mushroom sauce with some local new spuds and roasted veg (mixed peppers, red onions, hg carrots and our first hg courgettes).
  • Hello GLAD welcome aboard.

Lunch has been a veggie burger in a bun with altogether too many extras, but we've washed!

Supper this evening will be some pasta with garlic mushrooms and a nice green salad to use up some odds from the fridge. Blackberries (inevitably) for pud with Greek yoghurt and our coffee as usual.

dinner tonight is h/m spinach and ricotta pizza for me and cheese and tomato for the OH.
  • I've made us a vegetable stew for our main meal today to have with some garlic bread I will make from a couple of rolls that need using up. Fruit compote (blackberry and loganberry) made yesterday to use freezer stocks with fat free yoghurt and a cup of black coffee to finish with.

We didn't have the burgers last night, we were both tired, so a jacket spud for him and an omelette for me.

Tonight, mini BBQ with burgers and sausages, might make some double stuffed skins for menfolk :)

Sea bass in a white wine and herb reduction, served with crushed new potatoes and some steamed asparagus. I hope it turns out to be as nice as the one we had on holiday last week, I suspect the fish will not be as fresh :)
