I'm using up some of the meat stripped from Sunday's roast chicken tonight, adding it to some pan fried sliced red onion and chestnut mushrooms, some crushed garlic, a glug of white wine and some double cream. A sort of chicken supreme, I guess. Served with rice.

For puds this week I have made a sponge base topped with raspberries and blueberries set in a raspberry jelly.

that all sounds fab, mouth watering

Nipped to asda last night as no time yet for the weekly shop, got a pizza (for tonight) and picked up some chicken and veg kebabs, thoughts on what to serve them with on Thursday night please?

Soup for lunch. Think I'll have fishcakes for tea.

How about grilling them and serving in pitta breads which have been filled with salad and dollops of hummous?

just had sweet chilli stir fry but it was cheap veg from Asda as the usual veg i get was sold out....deff will not be buying it again, i'm not adverse to cheap veg but way too much chewy thick cabbage in it. OH is gallantly ploughing through his. Sad thing is I have the same for lunch tomorrow....

We were going to have fish and chips as we are beside the seaside, but most of the fish and chip shops close in the evening. So I had a quorn cottage pie, husband had a steak pie with a bag of steam in the bag fresh veggies, yellow stickered. Even on holiday!
  • Got some chicken and lentil casserole defrosting, last bit of a batch I made, going to have it with a jacket potato, carrots and a bit of kale :)
