Many congratulations to your daughter IM :):)

I'm just going to throw together a pizza, topped with whatever needs using up in the fridge tonight. That + salad + large glass of wine = perfect end to a busy week.
  • Tonight we'll be having hm quiche from the freezer, with local new spuds and salad.
  • Thank you for the welcomes :)
Tonight is homemade pizzas for the 3 hungry boyos and homemade Katsu curry with rice for myself and hubby (first time attempting this so no idea how it'll turn out, wish me luck :rotfl: )

Not sure tonight, OH is picking and I have a casserole type concoction in but they're always better the day after at least. Might be a mushroom omelette as I have shrooms to use up.

We arrived home, unpacked, watered the garden, put the washing machine on. Did the food shop and had scampi, jacket potato, salad and coleslaw for tea.

Popped out to get some shopping, came back to find I've over cooked my casserole, it's ok as I've added some water but that's diluted the flavour.

Dinner is a muffin with cheese slices with the footie as I cba cooking anything else.

Menu plan for the next week, using freezer supplies, all we need to buy is a chorizo sausage and creme fraiche:
Today: Spaghetti bolognaise & garlic bread
    Tomorrow: Out for father's day
    Monday: Salmon & spinach pasta
    Tuesday: Burger and chips
    Wednesday: Scallops & Chorizo
Thursday: Southern fried chicken, chips, salad
    Friday: Chilli & spicy rice

A bit heavy on the pasta but we'll eat lots of salad.
Spend less now, work less later.
  • Tonight's dinner will be the last of the new potatoes from last night, fried up and served with sausage egg and beans.
  • Tonight will be a meal from freezer, may be a hm risotto but not sure yet. Lunch will be chicken & sweetcorn soup I made yesterday, 2 portions in freezer along with 2 veg soups. There are now 5 in there ready for recouping from operation. Have a mince meal in SC at the moment for freezing in bags - chilli style and prepped to go in next is mince with mushrooms style, again for freezing. Have plans for chicken as well as chicken for use with pasta - again for freezers. Using up already frozen meals and chops, meatballs, fish etc to make room for fresh stuff.
