Last night the OH did chicken and merguez cooked in tomatoes with onions, mushrooms and peppers served on couscous. I love his cooking but lawdy he's a messy pup!!! he said he'd washed up most of the things bar a couple of pots (and why do you need 3 pots for a one pot dish...hmmm....) but I had to rewash almost all of it this morning as everything was too greasy to put away. Well at least he'd put the leftovers in the fridge!
Today we've got a boneless turkey breast from our meat guy at the market. The neighbours gave us a big green squash which I'll roast (might just do half as even that will be too much, unless I decide to soup the rest...). There's pigs in blankets, roasters, cauliflower, yorkshires. I might get round to making an apple crisp for afters.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
