Snake and pigmy pies this evening from Sainsbugs. I've some salad leaves so might add those to my plate. Him indoors will likely want beans (boggled!!)
Last evening's supper was lovely and more healthy. Salmon cooked on the BBQ (no smell and no washing up!) with some new potatoes and a lovely grapefruit and spinach salad. Another dish he was frowned at until he tasted it - and hoovered it up.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. @JIL
what spice mix is it that you got? I only ask as I'm off that way next month having never been before. (to Crete specifically rather than Greece itself)
Tonight's plan was to have pork chops with rice and I thought that I'd roast some of the frozen peppers etc that I have. But the neighbour stopped by with a very large portion of fresh picked runner beans so I'm wondering about having mash and the beans instead. Rice with runner beans doesn't seem right somehow.

I got one that said souvlaki on the tub. I also got a small one for potatoes, that I wish I had bought more of as it was really good. As well as a tzatziki one and a couple of others. Came like this, at €2.50.Brie said:@JIL

I bought them from a local supermarket, which I popped to to buy water and some pepsi max.
Love greek food.
Tonight we just had the Aldi extra special beer battered cod. It's in the fridge at Aldi, and costs £3.75 for 2 pieces. We like it cooked in the actifry with oven chips. Served with mushy peas.3
