Chilli, quite spicy, so a dollop of creme fraiche is required.

  • Hi everyone, 2nite I made chicken breast in the airfryer, some oil salt Pepper parsley in a bit of tin foil, 20 mins at 180c brushed with piri sauce 5 mins before the end. Basmati rice, green beans, broccoli and cauliflower. Very filling and tasty. And quick. Wish I had taken a pic. Amateur hour. Lol.

Jerk chicken wraps with salad on the side for myself and chisp for OH!

Also, I have an electric lunch box for work which is pretty neat but I'm looking for healthier food suggestions I could heat up? Especially in this weather as it's sooo cold!

@BlueJ94 I saw a lady on Instagram who does low cost lunch prep. beatthebudget I believe is the name.
Noticed yesterday a dish using rice noodles and chicken mince, with peppers and courgettes.  I was so impressed that I am making it for my daughter.  There may be some good ideas on there?

Tonight husband and daughter had chicken curry, with a side of lentil dahl. I had dahl with a hard boiled egg in it. All with rice.

The last of the turkey joint from the freezer.
Made turkey wraps with cranberry mayo and stuffing with roasted mini potatoes
Today the other portion is slow cooking as a chinese curry with mini onions
To those who are given much, much is expected

        £2026 in 2026. Total thus far. £5.80
      1. I'm feeling very pleased with myself for making a veggie bolognese with lentils and using up some fresh pasta I found languishing in the fridge as well as an end of parmesan and some leftover roasted cabbage followed by the last apple with the end of a jar of peanut butter. There's enough bolognese for tomorrow too if I haven't frozen solid overnight!

        Well done, goldfinches!!
        Wrap up warm!! 🥶💚
Personally, I suspect I might not step foot outside my house today 😬😁

OH did lamb shanks marinated in red wine for dinner last night - and while lovely I couldn't eat my portion and what remained got binned.  I do wish he wouldn't but he isn't always good at reimagining leftovers.

But that makes tonight a light meal - he has some corned beef to make sandwiches.  I had said I was going to have egg mayo ones but realised that I've got to chicken tenders left from the other night and have some tortillas so will make a couple of small wraps for me.  And then freeze the rest of the wraps to keep them for some mexican delight in the near future.
