We had wraps with mushroom omelette (make the omelette, press down a wrap, flip it over in the pan and roll it) with spinach in the wrap. For lunch.

For dinner I'm making individual fish pies (individual as I dont want any hake and husband loves it)

I’m making cod in parsley sauce, which I’m not really fussed about but is one of Mr CJ’s favourites. To be served with a mixture of steamed veg, I have carrots, broccoli, leeks and courgettes to use up.

I’m thinking about making a gipsy tart for puds over the next few days as I have all the ingredients.

I got some pork leg steaks from Waitrose butcher counter a few weeks back but came home to find the OH had bought a pork roast so the steaks went into the freezer.  I've got them thawing and am not sure if I'll do them under the grill or see if I can cook them on the BBQ (OH had shifted it so I don't know if it's balance properly now).  Either way they'll be served with gratin potatoes and broccoli.

today will be a homemade lasagne with peas and salad from my greenhouse, with perhaps a little garlic bread. There will be enough made though to get into portions in the freezer.

sausage and mash is planned for dinner on the basis that we are having fish for breakfast else it might be somewhat reversed.  OH like grilled haddock with poachers whereas I just have a simple slice of salmon lightly fried.  Bought a nice rye loaf from Taxco yesterday but I also have some "hot hot hot" cross buns.  3xhot because rather than being sweet they have jalapenos and birds eye chillis in them.  Quite nice really as buns but silly as hot cross buns.

I bought a humongous pork joint yesterday, one of the ones in the Easter half price Clubcard deal which had then been reduced again to just over £3 so it would have been rude not to. Having that roasted tonight with home made apple sauce and a selection of veg (there’s leek, courgette, peas, carrots and broccoli all free from the Community Fridge). There’ll be plenty of leftover pork to make a pork and veg noodle stir fry, and at least two portions of sweet and sour pork with rice later in the week.

I used an easter beef joint in the slow cooker yesterday. I cut it in half and cubed one half of it, left the other bit whole added, onions, carrots, Guinness and beef stock.
The whole beef is todays dinner, I made 6 (2 portion) steak pies with the cubes and veg for the inlaws freezer.

So today was easy, made some Yorkshire puddings,  potatoes dauphinose, and a load of veg and dinner was done. Two plates gone to the inlaws for tomorrow.

I also did a bit of baking, sausage rolls, soda bread, some apple sponges and some parkin.  So my dad has a goody bag as well.

Feet up now, I'm having a lazy afternoon.
