Hi all,
@Brie hope you enjoyed the cruise.
@C_J hope the treatment isn’t too brutal for Mr CJ x
We arrived home just over an hour ago, a fantastic break with some of the best food I have ever eaten 🤩 we’ve collected Frank from his little holiday with our DD and he is happily snoring on my lap.
tonight we’re keeping it simple with some gorgeous cheeses procured from the Bristol Cheesemonger with some crackers, after all we have eaten over the last 5 days, simple is much needed 😊
I’ll do a meal plan tomorrow, shouldn’t need a great deal as the freezers are groaning with meat, so maybe a few basics and fresh bits till the end of the month
Oooh - I discovered Rhubarb ketchup on our journey, so I shall experiment with making that - as our very posh friend says ‘it’s to die for Daaaaarling…..’Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Glad you had a great weekend @Islandmaid
I spent a weekend in Bristol over 30 years ago, must go again.
Today was a non working day but I have been so busy doing things for parents and inlaws.
It was 6.50pm before I even thought about dinner. Husband got airfry chips and salad with beef. I had a salad, bread and a french omelette. I will have a bar of chocolate (freddo) later.1 -
I’ve caught up on the laundry etc had some cuddles with Frank, and taken him out to the park.
dinner is a repeat of a recent meal, chorizo and halloumi bake with gnocchi for him with salad for me - uses up the other half of those items.
Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
