Oh that sounds unpleasant @Islandmaid - I hope it is not as bad as you fear. You'll probably manage okay on a liquid dinner, but I suggest gin and tonics rather than soup :)

sounds like the lobster bisque is exactly what's required on a day like today!!

I think it's breaded fish.  Not sure if he's planning on chips with it or not - there was talk of spinach.

I had a huge bag of spinach and as I was opening it a spanish bus ticket fell out!!
Anyway I washed it and it went into a broccoli and courgette stirfry, which went with baby potatoes, chicken, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. It was a nice dinner after a long day.

Passing on my best wishes @Islandmaid.

We have pizzas that were part of a Watrose special.  There's also meatballs and a tagine sauce with the idea that it's served with cous cous.  I'll let him decide.  (pizza please!!)

I have some waitrose jasmine rice, (ready meal with edamame beans and spring onions) which we are having with teriyaki salmon and tender stem broccoli and some gyroza.
  • Day before grocery delivery so either a takeout or a freezer raid for me.
Decided to save the money and hit the freezer.
A lasagne I made last month. Hooray for batch cooking!

We are off to the seaside for a couple of nights, absolutely no idea what made me book it. But we will make the most of it, let the dogs have a run on the beach and fish and chips for dinner.

ETA. Well we made it, had a walk on the beach, ate fish and chips and its chucking it down.
