Husband's sister lived in Malta for several years and he would accompany his parents there for holidays. He is making Brungiel mimli which is a much loved dish there - basically stuffed aubergines.0

I have been promised chicken liver risotto. I thought this meant it would be an easy day for me but I was asked to buy garlic, parmesan, wine and garlic. He had already bought the livers and we had a couple of onions. That said, it's 7 pm and nothing is happening yet in the kitchen.....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I had a marks voucher so did the shopping there tonight. Definitely good quality. I bought the £12 main and four sides. Chicken on sunday, 2 garlic breads will be pizza tomorrow and coleslaw for Monday. Chunky chips for tonight, but who would pay £3 for them?
I had chunky chips (airfry) with beans and vege sausage out of a tin. Husband had chips, beans, egg and gammon from a small joint I cooked yesterday that had hidden in the fridge and been forgotten about.
Was impressed as it was all cooked in 11 minutes.1 -
We’re having a stir fry tonight, with the last of the chicken from this week’s roast, a pack of YS large prawns, plus noodles, stir fry veg and black bean sauce all from the community fridge.1
