After a bit of a freezer hunt, I found 6 mini cooking chorizo and some chicken thighs, will make a Spanish style chicken and chorizo stew with peppers and sherry, also found a fossilised garlic bread, so will cook that up too 😊

My menu plan is all over the place at the moment, and tonight I'm doing a roast chicken dinner that we should have had yesterday. I found a pack of pigs in blankets lurking in the freezer since Christmas, so we'll have a few of those with it too, along with roast potatoes, mini yorkies, carrots, peas, and some romanesco from the community fridge which I have made into a large dish of (vibrant green) cauliflower cheese. I anticipate howls of dissent from Mister CJ who doesn't like anything even vaguely unusual.
  • Sainsbury's organic lamb steaks which were pretty decent, organic leeks fried in organic pesto, then heated in organic double cream. Gorgeous.

Found a bag of frozen mixed seafood on my freezer hunt journey, will make a seafood and lemon risotto, not OH’s favourite, but he’s not cooking 😉

I'm hoping for mac and cheese as I know I won't have problems eating it (said hopefully).

Mac and cheese worked well and did a cheese and garlic flat bread that was YS so a nice add on.

I'm making a chicken, potato and spinach curry for tonight, using some of the chicken left over from Monday's roast, and potatoes/spinach/curry paste all free from the community fridge.  Hoping to get enough portions from it to have for dinner tomorrow as well.
