I am craving a visit to a quirky local restaurant that serves whatever it likes on any given night, he wants a takeaway - let battle commence 😉

I'd planned on stir fry but someone was unexpectedly home so we had sandwiches instead.  Wondering when I'm going to get to have the lush steak I got the other day......

I had macaroni cheese with leeks and broccoli (freezer) and husband had actifry chips, fish and tinned mushy peas.

Had a hagen daas (sp) from freezer that I bought at Christmas and forgot about. It was chocolate with broken macarons in it. Well worth the calories.

Fake nando's. Big mushrooms, halloumi, piri piri chicken thighs, pitta bread, salad, houmous and probably couscous.

OH has requested coq au vin.  I've some chicken breasts which he likes and I'll get some thighs to go with them.  He's requested "not a lot of onions".  Bah humbug.

We were supposed to be going out for dinner with friends tonight, but Mister CJ is feeling rubbish after the first of his latest round of chemo so we’re staying home as he needs to rest. I shall rustle up some bangers and mash as he likes that 😀

They like their comfort food!!  Think I've managed to coq au vin in under an hour.....no idea how good it will taste as the herbs have wandered off and got lost.
