We are having mushroom quiche, salad, coleslaw and jacket potato. There is cold gammon left from yesterday that can also go on plates.

I baked the bread today, as per the recipe and whilst it didnt rise much, which I think was due to the just out of date yeast, it did have a very nice flavour and crust.  I will make it again.

Kitchen is complete and usable but not fully restocked with everything due to him indoors having a tummy bug.

This however doesn't keep him from commenting on anything I put in the kitchen.  "thought we said that cupboard would be for glasses!"  "shouldn't you clean that toaster a bit more before it goes back??"

Have I ever mentioned I'm an excellent shot with both a .22 and a crossbow??

And tonight I'll be having lamp rump with a jacket tater while he has a little cottage pie or some soup (again).

@Brie stand away from the arms….. and breath..

bit of a fridge forage tonight, jacket potato with prawn mayo for him, using up last of the salad too.

For me a few of the (freezer stash) prawns and random fridge gravel with satay ramen, a bung it all in and cross you fingers type of affair 🤞

We had jacket potatoes, mine with tuna.
Others had a chicken, chorizo, sliced peppers and onion cooked in Spanish chicken tonight sauce and a side of broccoli with theirs.

I had home made vegetable soup for lunch, have been putting frozen mushy peas in the pan (they are whole and ready to cook) have to recommend them, really good addition.

I've got some lovely sausages from the butcher's to use up, so it's either bangers and mash or sausage, egg and chips tonight.

Coasting until tomorrow....might have the last potato jacked or the last "to bake" baguette pizza-ed.  I'd have tuna with the potato if I knew where the tuna and mayo were.....
