What are you making for dinner?

Tonight it's lamb and lamb. OH had bought a small rack of lamb a few months back and it had been put in the freezer for him to have when I was out of the country. He didn't get round to it so subsequently bought some lamb chops to make it a dinner for 2. I'm hoping it's all on to the bbq. Just need to decide what to have with it. Trying to rid our freezer still of excess prior to the kitchen departing on Monday so might look to have the assorted potatoes and veg lurking there - if I say roasties to OH I'm sure his little eye will brighten up!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Husband is doing a freezer declutter so last night we had Gressingham duck legs, roasted, with a Mediterranean veggies bake from ASDA. They went really well together.2

I had some bits that needed using up so taking inspiration from buddah bowls, we had (all via the airfryer ); padron peppers, sweet potato cubes, cubed halloumi, tomatoes, broccoli, and I made a brown rice dish with chopped veg.
I had also cooked a gammon joint for tomorrows dinner and husband added some of that to his bowl. It was quite nice. Made a change.5 -
Back to work tomorrow, so back to meal planning -
Chicken casserole today, also slow cooking the small gammon joint we didn’t use over Christmas, this will become gammon and mash tomorrow, ham egg and chips, then sandwich fillers etc for the week and bits will be used in a frittata for work lunches.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Kitchen declutter continues and loads of OOD things chucked out of the food cupboards and fridge. I don't mind OOD things normally going by the look and sniff tests but there's no point in keeping a large jar with 2 small gherkins in it.
So tonight I think we will be having schnitzel and a tin of potatoes, maybe some of the veg that didn't get used yesterday. If there's not enough schnitzel I'll suggest that instead of confitting the duck legs we simply have those roasted instead.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
