Today its traditional steak pie, mushy peas and mashed potatoes. Made on Saturday so it's in the fridge waiting to go in the oven/microwave.
I haven't decided what to make myself, I'm thinking cauliflower and stilton soup.

We had a very late lunch as husband went to Sainsbos for eggs, water and cheeses. Fortunate that we try to eat organic as much as poss, as he got eggs but anyone wanting non-organic eggs was out of luck, there wasn't a single standard box of any size, left.

We had fried eggs, sautéed mushrooms and fennel and the gluten free pigs in blankets which were forgotten in the freezer. From Cook, they are made with Speldhurst butchers gluten free sausages. Disappointing, being skinny, short and salty !

Supper may involve leftover champagne and leftover Viennetta.

We enjoyed chipolatas in hot dog buns with tones of onions. Very simple, quick and filling.mDH had cheese & biscuits for supper, I had a teacake, grapes and a banana. Yes, we started eating less today. Tuesday I will be chicken breast in home made mushroom sauce with basmati rice, mushrooms, peas & sweetcorn

Took a load of stuff to the tip and OH suggested we have sausage and mash.  By the time we got to the supermarket that had become him cooking the sausage with lentils and belly pork.  Completely happy with that!!!  In fact I'd love to have it now rather than wait a 3+ hours.
