Hope all is well today.
We had some spicy sausages with potato salad. OH also had coleslaw which he wasn't very good about passing along.

So sorry for your loss @Islandmaid. Absolutely stunning photo and looking at it just makes you feel at peace x
Last night we had baby potatoes, sliced up put in milk and a little butter and microwaved. Until they were nearly cooked, added in some parmesan, popped them in an ovenproof dish and topped with a little grated cheese. Baked for 25 mins) Absolutely delicious.
I had tuna (baked with the potatoes) husband had beef bourguignon from freezer and we had spring greens, tender stem broccoli, green beans and baby sweet corn.1 -
Thanks all, I’m okay - family arriving tomorrow so we’ll celebrate his life then x and @JIL it is a stunning area they retired there from Calgary 15 years ago and loved everything about Lunenburg. He’ll be greatly missed, but lived a full life with no regrets, which is the most we can all hope for x
dinner tonight is a sort of Coq au Riesling, will shove it in the slow cooker.
edit - scratch that, DH came home in agony with toothache, thankfully our wonderful dentist squeezed him in and sorted it - he looks like the marshmallow man at the moment, so I’ll fridge forage and he’ll sip water 😱Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!
