Absolutely broiling hot here so didn't really feel like eating at all, just had some kefir, lots of water and a home made blackberry sorbet from the freezer.5

Another glorious day. Frank was walked at 6 and is now flat on his back dozing, which is is very favourite thing.
have chopped a melon up to chill in the fridge for later pickings, having the chicken thighs with salad for dinner.
also made a jug of black coffee to turn into iced coffee 😋Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Missed the farm shop which closed (surprisingly to me) at 5. Too much chatter with our hair guy kept us to almost 5:30. So discussion on the drive home, what should be do, go to Lidl to get some steaks? what about Sainsbugs? Oh I know did you hear Ken Bruce talking about cooking a chicken? So we popped into M&S bought a high priced but excellent bird that OH roasted with lots of butter and had that with just a baguette. Ate outside and tried to entice a visiting mog to come closer with promises of tasty tidbits but no luck!! There was also a very nice bottle of German wine.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. I found some fresh pasta in the fridge so had that with a tomato sauce from home grown cherry tomatoes and prawns.
I will be glad to see the end of the tomato plant. The dog keeps helping herself and we keep finding tomatoes around the house in strange places.3 -
An even hotter day here than yesterday and so I'm having a very late dinner of tabbouleh, courgette pickle, gherkins, radishes, lettuce and cucumber also with iced coffee."She could squeeze a nickel until the buffalo pooped."

Butter chicken curry was planned - might just have fruit and yoghurt 🏖️
were at a local food festival all weekend, looking forward to it.
we were planning to take Frank as its dog friendly, but in this heat I don’t think it’s fair on Frank, so will leave him home, it’ll be 4-5 hours longest time he’s been left alone 🫣 but I’d rather he be bored than cooked 🥺Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

I cooked chicken breast fillets last night - coated them in peri peri mayo and spiced up breadcrumbs - yummy in a wrap with salad.
I think chicken again tonight.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
