Enjoying all the love for the HB sausage casserole, it’s v easy to make and so yummy. I generally add peppers and mushrooms and keep meaning to try it without the sausages as a bean & veg casserole!
Last night we had southern fried chicken with Delia’s herb potato salad and a green salad with ranch dressing. Tonight DS1 and I are making pizza or calzones to eat watching Eurovision 🎉🎤🎶

Tonight I am roasting some skinless boneless cod fillets (Aldi, frozen) drizzled with a large sachet of Korean bulgogi sauce which has been languishing in the cupboard for ages (originally free from community fridge) and serving with sliced courgettes fried in garlic butter. Trifle for pud.4

I sold the house, the car, all my jewellery and the telly and with the proceeds had just enough to buy a leg of lamb. When did that get so expensive? 😂.I will be stretching that to feed us for several days this week - roast lamb dinner today, lamb and red onion flatbreads with tzatziki tomorrow, and a lamb ragu blanco (recipe from a recent Waitrose mag) for a couple more meals.
I’m making a rhubarb, orange and ginger crumble using the last of the rhubarb from the garden and we already have a trifle in the fridge which I made yesterday, so those will be the puds this week. I am supposed to be enjoying a post-operative rest this week, but that doesn’t seem to be happening 😏5
