We shall also be looking around as well, as we are both hoping to move there towards the end of this year perhaps early next now the majority of her children have grown and flown the nest.
The eggs were gorgeous with deep orange yolks, nothing like the insipid pale lemon ones from the supermarket.
My dinner/lunch was great and I'm still pretty full so will only have a snack tonight perhaps.
Cheers JackieO xxx
Tonight was spinach and ricotta tortellini with tomato and basil sauce. Added some mozarella to both, and parma ham, oilive oil and balsamic to mine...and more cheese.
Pud was a rather stale doughnut revived in the air fryer.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

@London_1 Sounds like a plan 🙌 Bembridge is lovely, we’re the other side in CowesGot the whole tribe round for dinner tonight, DD is on nights and her OH that does most of the cooking as gone off for a stag weekend today, so she needs feeding 🤣🤣
Tuscan chicken and rice bake with garlic bread and salad, I’ve still got some prawns left, so Tuscan prawn salad for me. Might make a lemon posset for pudding as we have a ton of creams and some sad looking lemons.Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Cheap dinner this evening. Breaded chicken I got reduced, noodles that cost 35p a packet (we use 2) and then I add in peas, peppers and onions. All in all less than £2 for 3:money::rotfl::T5

Bembridge is indeed lovely - we are renting a big house there for the first two weeks in August, staying with our daughters, their husbands, three grandchildren and three dogs. Cannot wait to get back onto the diamond isle, I'm bursting with excitement
I've made a pasta bake for tonight with enough to finish up tomorrow as I am not sure how I will be feeling. I'm booked in at 8.30 tomorrow morning to get a cataract removed by large spade, carving knife or electric drill or however they do it. Wish me luck!4 -

Hoisin prawn stir fry with noodles.
I’m also trying to use up my cupboard and freezer supplies instead of shopping so for lunch today instead of going out & buying a sandwich, I used the leftover end of the focaccia I bought at the weekend with some leftover ham and cheese with mayo and made a quick pan of lentil soup with some cupboard red lentils and a ham stock cube.Have also frozen a portion of soup for next time & have enough for lunch tomorrow too.“I want to be a glow worm, A glow worm's never glum'Coz how can you be grumpy, when the sun shines out your bum?" ~ Dr A. I do like that Hairy Bikers recipe. It’s a regular in this house. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.6
