    Evening all. A busy week here with the bank holiday, family visits, coronation fun at nursery and a trip into Birmingham!

    tonight we had sausages, mash made with white and sweet potatoes, sweetcorn and peas plus onion gravy

    Busy day here too, so we’re having spaghetti with red pesto, garlic bread and a side of purple sprouting broccoli. And plenty of Parmesan 😊

    Hmmmm not sure today, many options…. Most not weather appropriate.

    welcomed the new king accompanied by English fizz and traditional pork pie etc for those that do… was gunna be bbq, but looking more like sausages in baps with caramelised onions etc got a severe case of CBA 🫣

    Apparently the hand of pork is for tomorrow so off we trotted to Asbo and got some chinese stuff.  Had circled around the whole huge place and was back to the chinese aisle and I spotted the chap doing price reductions so half of it was YS which is nice.  Wanted to get some salmon for breakfast but they've done away with their fish counter (like almost everyone now) and I didn't want to pay for the prepackaged bits that seemed so overpriced.  Spotted they also had sardines so we've got those for Monday breakfast - nom!!!
