Apparently the hand of pork is for tomorrow so off we trotted to Asbo and got some chinese stuff. Had circled around the whole huge place and was back to the chinese aisle and I spotted the chap doing price reductions so half of it was YS which is nice. Wanted to get some salmon for breakfast but they've done away with their fish counter (like almost everyone now) and I didn't want to pay for the prepackaged bits that seemed so overpriced. Spotted they also had sardines so we've got those for Monday breakfast - nom!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Was up in the Big Smoke with our visitors yesterday, had a lentil cottage pie and sticky toffee pud whilst out. Then we were hungry at the pub back home later on so had a couple of pizzas delivered in.
Feeling decidedly fragile today, guests are out so me and OH are picking at fridge bits from the sofa.Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

We have the makings of a BBQ if the weather behaves, if not it’s essentially a mixed grill 🤷♀️Note to self - STOP SPENDING MONEY !!

Hello all, yesterday got back from my sisters lateish so I got my husband a pizza from Tesco and my daughter had some nuggets and chips from the freezer. I had a sandwichToday more chilled out shopping has been. We have got chicken curry tonight, my sister gifted me the chicken. I’ll add in red peppers currently on offer in Tesco and a red onion. Then sides of rice, naan, poppadoms, chutneys and then the Indian selection which has samosas, pakoras and bhajis. A bit of a feast but having had a meal out in Nando’s last week I’m shocked at takeaway/eat in costs so I thought a fakeaway Indian would be nice and cost less than a tenner even if I factored in paying for meat.:money::rotfl::T5
